This booklet investigates either the motives and results of transnational actions between immigrants with regards to their integration into the receiving society. It makes use of huge scale, consultant information approximately first and moment new release immigrants in Germany. It develops a proper theoretical version, and is the reason either transnational involvement and paths of immigrant integration.
Important questions are spoke back: What results does transnational involvement have on integration? Is transnational involvement a different type of integration? Is it a substitute for assimilation? Does it prevent or facilitate assimilation?
Longitudinal analyses are awarded which express that immigrant integration and transnational involvement don't unavoidably oppose one another. The ebook indicates that even though low degrees of integration may well coincide with powerful transnational ties, the connection isn't causal.
